Capture the Flag at a Nerf party, run by your TV

Two flags, two bases and one long sprint across ground that belongs to somebody else. That’s the pitch your TV gives the room, in its own words, before anyone has picked up a blaster.

Then it moves. The briefing types itself out, names get sorted onto Red and Blue, and the count-in runs over a blueprint of a blaster. Ten minutes go on the clock. The host adds one, and the clock takes it without a fuss. RED CAPTURED fills the entire screen, so nobody at the far end of the yard has to ask, and then it’s time’s up at 00:00.
